According to gt-metrics, analysis for the speed performance of the landing pages of Nigerian church websites, the following 10 churches website landing pages have the highest performance score in descending order. The scores shown below are the averages of their page speed and y-slow scores.

1.  MOUNTAIN OF FIRE AND MIRACLES MINISTRIES [75.5%]

For any website to be successful, people need to be able to use it. Design and appearance will never replace the need for usability. The usability needs of a site will partially depend on the nature of the site. Any site that lacks usability will struggle to keep visitors on the site and to encourage repeat visits. Most of us internet users are impatient and if we find something that makes us work too hard, we’ll simply leave. That been said, mountain of fire has the most performant church website as at May 2017.

2. CHURCH OF GOD MISSION [69%]

Despite its loaded content, CGM has one of the best church website in terms of speed. The homepage is well arranged, the headlines are well defined and there are beautiful icons each representing information about the church arms. And the number one is CGM. The home page is well arranged and defined, the beautiful icons represents each information about the church arms. I love the background image. The crafted headline [evangelism our supreme task] that defines the church and resonates with the people they’re trying to reach. Very simple and clean design; the clear call-to-action and the consistent, bright primary color on the home page are compelling. Tastefully designed.

3. FULL LIFE CHRISTIAN CENTRE [67.5%]

The appearance of this website is a determining factor for its success. Not every website needs to be an award-winning design in order to achieve its goals, but it should appeal to its specific audience and it should present a positive, professional image.

4. COMMON WEALTH OF ZION ASSEMBLY [65.5%]

Simplicity is obviously the goal, it’s about presenting the church in such a way that it’s easy to navigate and not distracting.

5. CHURCH OF NIGERIA -ANGLICAN CHURCH [64%]

The page it leads to is just a simple text. This explains why it is fast. That’s great.

6. DAYSTAR CHRISTIAN CENTRE [64%]

Daystar’s website is awesome for its simplicity and defined headlines. It has a ‘’click here to watch’’ call-to-action that makes it easy for visitors to know about out the ministry.

7. FAITH TABERNACLE [61%]

This website has a nice menu layout. Their quality headline can resonate with a new visitor in a big way, but nothing can hook visitors faster than visuals. The visuals on this website is beautiful and informative.

8. CHRIST EMBASSY [57.5%]

Christ Embassy’s website is one of the simplest yet informative websites I have ever seen with a nice menu layout.

9. HOUSE ON THE ROCK [55.5%]

House on the rock website is appearing everywhere, impressive! A couple of images can be used to show the people of the church while including an image spotlighting an upcoming event. That’s what they do! Cool right?

10. THE REDDEEM EVANGELICAL MISSION [54.5%]

Instead of talking about themselves, they use confessions, books and testimonies from people within as their main headline. Pretty cool.
